New Assembly Testimony in Kuwait
Greetings in the most wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We are very much happy to inform you about the new assembly testimony - Christian Brethren Assembly – Kuwait, that is established in the Will of God in Abbassiya-Kuwait on 15 FEB 2008. This new assembly testimony is the result of the outreach activities started in 2002 by a few brethren from Believers Brethren Assembly in Kuwait.
Assembly activities are going well. By the grace of God many souls are being added to the church from various backgrounds. God enabled us to conduct a baptism service on 25 APR 08 and expecting few more new believers to obey the Lord in the waters of baptism, in due course. In Abbassiya a lot of Malayalies are staying. We request your continued valued prayers that we are able to carry out the Assembly activities more effectively and fruitfully for the ultimate Glory of our God.

Br. E.T.Baby Promoted to Glory
Mylapra: Br. E.T.Baby , (Elemplackal) went to be with the Lord on 09 MAY 08 following a heart surgery at Bangalore. He was a member of Mallassery Brethren Assembly. The funeral details will be announced later.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) in Malabar, Kerala
The months of April & May are hectic with Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) in different Places of Kerala. It is not different in the Northern Part of Kerala – Malabar. By the Grace of God, VBS Ministry there also is in full swing and will continue until end of MAY 08. Fully Trusting in the God, we prayerfully planned to conduct VBS in around 50 to 60 places in this region. (In majority of these places we never conducted VBS before). Our Gracious God enabled us to conduct VBS at 28 places so far and arrangements are in progress to conduct VBS in many more places. Please continue to pray for the VBS at these places:
Wayanad: Puthenkunnu, Sulthan Bathery, Manathavady, Ambalavayal, Kudikki, Pakkam, Pulpally, Meppady, Chekady, Ondayagady.

God willing in the coming coming weeks we are planning to conduct VBS in various tribal colonies, Hostels, Etc…As a follow up work, we are praying for Children Clubs in different places and one week training program for the teachers.

FIBA Seminar In Philadelphia Has Been Cancelled
Philadelphia: Because of the funeral arrangements for our beloved sister Annamma Edward (of India Gospel Assembly, Elmont, New York, USA) on this Saturday morning (May 10, 2008), the FIBA one-day seminar in Philadelphia has been cancelled. Sister Annamma Edward Promoted to Glory
New York - USA: We have been praying for Sister Annamma Edward (72 years) of the India Gospel Assembly, Elmont, New York. She was on the ventilator for a few days. She went to be with the Lord this morning (Tuesday, May 6, 2008).

Evg. K. V. Jose met with an Accident
Kushalnagar, Karnataka: Evg. K V Jose, Kushalnagar met with an accident Sunday morning, 04 MAY 08. While he was going to assembly with his elder daughter Feba, one Auto came and hit both of them. Now brother Jose is admitted in VMH Hospital Mysore. He has fracture in Head and he need an immediate surgery. God willing the surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, 06 MAY 08 at 4 PM.

Urgent prayer Need
Assam: Evg. Biren Goyari has come to the Lord from a BORO Tribal community, through the work of Evg.Simon(who is from Trichur). He has completed his diploma course in theology from GTC, Perumbavoor. Bro. Biren is married with sister Rupulim and they have child (14days). He was excommunicated from his tribal village due to his conversion experience. But the Lord has pleased to use him mightily for His glory, in the same tribal village from where he was excommunicated once. After his bible school studies, he is serving the Lord in Kadalpar village. There the testimony of the Lord was established. There are 20 members from 6 families attending the assembly regularly.
Bro. Mintu Ram Chiyary and family who came to the Lord, from the same village is now facing the threat of excommunication from the tribal people. Next Tuesday, there is a particular Pooja in that village when decisions on crucial issues are taken by village elders. Now brother Minturam’s mother is in favour of him. The demand of the villagers is that mother has to send away Minturam or if she is still in favour to him, she also has to go out of the village. Now the saints here are gathering for worship and prayer in the house of a brother. If the excommunication process happens, it may affect all the families indirectly or directly. Evg.Biren has requested earnest prayers of the saints on this issue. Let us all stand in the gap for the brother and family that there may not be any such action of excommunication. Evg. Evg. M.Abraham Met an accident
Punalur: Evg. M.Abraham who is serving the Lord in Anchal met an accident. An auto hit on his scooter, and there is fracture on his shoulders. Please pray for complete recovery.
Evg. Varghese Seeks help to build up a shelter
House of an Evangelist
Pazhanji, Thrissur: Evg. Varghese Kallinkal (53), came forward from a Jacobite family background. He has been in fellowship with Pazhanji brethren Assembly. In 2000 the Assembly has commended him as an Evangelist. Since then he is serving the Lord full time in Pazhanji and surrounding places. His wife Eliyaamma is psychologically ill for past 15 years, the treatment is still going on. They have three daughters, Nissy (22) Nisha (20) sheena (16).They stay in a thatch roof shelter, which was built by the members of the assembly. Now the responsible believers are having a desire to build a house for this family. He has 4 cents of land. and the foundation is laid. The brethren in TBN Relief Trust has published a request to help this family in building up a house.

Misconceptions and definitions
This is Gary Parrett and we’re going to be discussing together the ministry of worship in the local church context, looking at critical issues about biblical understanding of worship, and also its practice in the contemporary Christian context. Before we get into our subject manner, let’s just ask the Lord’s blessing upon this.
Father, we thank You for the gift of being able to worship you in spirit and in truth. We pray, God, that, as we consider some of the issues about worship together, You would put your blessing upon us. Open our minds; open our hearts to understand Your ways, and help us Lord to walk in them by the grace of Jesus. For we pray it in His name, Amen.
